Unbelievable game. Not just your standard match 3 game. You actually need to use some strategy! Good storyline, difficulty level increases, approx 100 chapters, plus you may have up to 3 goals on a level. Need to keep building on your island to keep your villagers busy and not stealing the gold! This game can be played over and over again, which makes it a steal.

This m3 game is different in that instead of swapping tiles or dragging, there is a picture of one of the objects on the board "stuck" to your cursor, you then find 2 more of that object on the board and make the match with your cursor, sometimes easier said than done since some of the objects can be similar in appearance. The story is about rescuing a captured love of one of the sailors, and also as you go through the board, you begin building a village as you collect coins off the board. You can choose from various buildings that are offered at different prices that will aid you in battle, but you must choose wisely because some you need before others. The music and sound effects are awesome, like what you would expect from an old sea ship filled with pirates! This game if fine for everyone, but does get quite challenging. ye mateys have fun with this one!

I am an avid Match 3 fan, and have tried nearly all the games on this site, and this is probably my favourite game. Great sound effects,fun graphics, and challenging to the right level,sometimes frustrating when you miss out by a couple of seconds but it only makes you more determined.This and jewel Quest 3 are the best games I have found yet,brilliant........please bring out another one!

Purchased and I'm still playing this one. A cute story line and characters, and the matches are made in a different way than most Match 3 games so it takes a little getting used to at first, but still find the game to be a lot of fun. It is timed so it does get more challenging as you move through the levels; I'm finally having to replay a level to get through it. Overall, I am really enjoying the game.

Excellent game that requires some strategy. 100 levels so long play time. It is a timed game but you have power-ups to use to help you clear the board.

This is very good match-3 game from the golden age of match-3 genre. Very well put together, with your own island to settle and improve (a bit like in Cradle of Rome). The graphics is superb. Music and sound effects too. Many levels, many buildings to build on your island. A lot of fun. Keep building your hideaway and make your pirates happy, otherwise they will steal your gold :D

I am pretty happy about finding this 'treasure of a game' from a post in the CCC forum...Yes, it was another members first ever game purchase and there was only 'joy of playing' in there words...so of course I had to check it out! Have a big load of HOG purchased but always looking for a 'fun' M3 to play when I have to had a 'brain drain' moment. The game is a simple M3 with a given challenge at each 'chapter'...there are the characters that make you laugh....there is islands and you get to pick the name...if you use a moment to strategy it will benefit you time....and even though timed, which is basically what I consider quite enough to not make the game a 'flustrating mess of wanting to pull your hair out!'....enough said...I am going back to have some simple F.U.N.! Five Start +

It took me at least 2 months and over 1000 tries but I finally beat the game and the 100th level. I actually miss this aggravating and fascinating game so, I'm back to try all over again.

I continue to play this game even though I conquered it. It never gets less challenging. Great buy!

Love this game and I keep looking for a sequel. Please BF, create another match 3 game of this caliber.
