Absolutely LOVED this game!! I have the first one as well and enjoyed this one just as much. Great game play, music is pretty good, although most ofthe time I play without sound as it gets annoying after awhile, but I could tolerate this one. I was hooked on this game from the very beginning and bought it right away. The time for my trial went fast as it is intriguing,
Like the first Maestro, this is a great game! The cutscene at the beginning already encouraging to continue ... the little boy is so sad that you really want to help him. He touched me with his sorrowful voice and eyes. You feel inside the story! - Impressive Graphics - Spetacular Song - Very good storyline ! - Realistic characters - Not a big challenge, but entertaining and enjoyable. - There are a lot of new and differents mini games. They are challenging, but not all of them ... some are very easy. Super recommend !!
I didn?t play the first ?Maestro? game, but I enjoyed this nonetheless. As usually, the animated characters and voice acting were amusing. I always get a good laugh. I look forward to ERS? quirky and bizarre characters now. The main game for me was about 5 hours and I played on the easy mode. The bonus section lasted about an hour. I did have to use the strategy guide and the hint button. So, I guess it just depends on how you play personally. I tend to be slower at hidden object games compared to others. But I still thought it was a good length. The graphics were good and I enjoyed the game overall. I liked the story and the music theme. But I don?t think buying it as a Collector?s Edition is necessary. However, I will mention that the screenshots on the game page are exclusively for the Collector?s Edition. The main game does have an ending. The bonus section was longer than average and sets up the third in the series, but it?s not urgent. I don?t buy those many Collector?s Editions. I try to save it for the really good ones. But I don?t regret my purchase. It was a good game and I?m looking forward to the third one.
I really enjoyed this sequel to Maestro: Music of Death. The developer, ERS, makes such beautiful graphics and pairs just the right music and voice overs with the scenes. The game offers not just 2 but 3 difficulty levels to play, casual, advanced and hard so since I always play the expert level on most games, I decided to try hard and it was perfectly challenging but not so much that I couldn't figure it out. The storyline in this sequel is as good as the maestro previous to this one so enjoy!
First off - SNAKE! Don't touch it - seriously, I wet my pants a little cause I tried to smack it....okay, I jumped and knocked over my soda which had my boyfriend cracking up. I was startled, a lot! The graphics are unbelievable - it's like watching a movie. Seriously, these folks spoil you and other games just don't meet this level of beauty. For once the music is different - still creepy so you get those "Jaws" kind of moments if you have the music cranked up...duna, duna, duna, duna, duna. Challenging game play - moving back and forth through the scenes (avoiding that stinking snake and then wondering what else is going to scare me - yeah, they get in your head big time) great puzzles, interesting hidden objects scenes with puzzles in them...all in all a really terrific game. For once I didn't make it through the test version within 40 minutes...played the full hour and then the screen goes black and started yelling "nooooooo" so, I had to buy it! Yes, it's that good!
A fine second installment.I thoroughly enjoyed playing this one. From the beautifully done graphics to the interactive hidden object scenes. This game is an easy to follow game which you will have no need to seek out a walkthrough. The voice overs are neatly done.Even the monsters interact with you when approached. This one is a keeper!
Maestro: Notes of Life was a lot of fun. The music was beautiful and fit right in with the outstanding graphics. The HOS items were original and some well disguised, in plain site. The only drawback for me was that the mini-games tended to be extremely easy. - Unusually easy. With the exception of attempting to position the bones of mini-skeletons which I was not able to get right, the rest of the mini-games were quick to solve without help. One very nice thing was the way that music, song sheets, musical notes, - all aspects of the music world were infused throughout the game. So, while the mini-games were easy, the structure of them, such as completing a mosaic or opening a box locked with a series of mini-record players, was original and fun. I found myself smiling and even laughing at the creativity and fun setup of these mini-games. When it came to "finding" items along the way, some were very creatively and discretely hidden which added to the fun and caused me to do some backtracking! :) The storyline was also well integrated and interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game, and, now that I notice there is a CE of the sequel I will move on to that. Yes, I highly recommend this game for it's beauty, music, creativity, and all around fun.
I love this series. it is so well done. I was getting a bit worried when i finally killed Eva, the villian of the piece, but not worry. The series lives on. This is such a well crafted game. There are subtle things that really enhance the gaming experience. I love the background sounds for each area. The chirping of the birds or the sound of the crickets in the woody areas. One of my favorites in this game was the chopping sound of the spiders eating the wood on the floor and of course getting in our way of picking up a vital game piece. the visual detail is stunning too. Take time to notice the small details throughout the game. At the very beginning you see Frances walking down an aisle notice that the soles of his shoes are all scuffed and his overalls strap that is unbuttoned swayst behind him with each step. Just what you would see in a active young boy. Wonderful detail that gives me great joy when I play. This developer also has a great sense of humor, they make me laugh. I loved this game as i did all of thier others. Enjoy!
Just finished the demo and definitely enjoyed the play. This one is better than the first so if you enjoyed that you will enjoy this as well. The graphics are terrific, the voice overs good, the cutscenes were great, the storyline similar to the first (save the child and town), and the music good as well. The HOs are good, with some interaction and some items that are harder to find. The puzzles in the demo were fairly easy but probably get a little harder as the game goes on. There is no map but not really necessary as the play is pretty straight forward. There are 3 levels which I feel is always a plus. The notebook was helpful for me once, but the game is easily playable without it, which I prefer to do. It took me nearly the entire hour to play the demo which is always a good sign. So the entire game is probably 5+ hours.
play this game by looking at the reviews. The reviews do not lie. Great game and fun to play. Liked it so much I purchased the other one. You will not be disapointed.
