This is another ERS-masterpiece!! Beautiful and welldone graphics, astonishing creatures and animals, very good animated characters with nice voice-overs? Facts: 3 modes to choose from (can be changed during the game), direction giving hint, a detailed journal with a map showing you objectives and allowing you to ?jump?, you may lock the inventory, 6 chapters, strategy-guide doesn?t follow your progress. Attached to your inventory you?ll have the Amulet of Elements, which helps you to defeat the witch?s evil powers, such as smoke, fire, wind, frost and water?. Mentionable Extras: Bonus-chapter, 17 achievements to earn, 12 fortune nuts to collect, replayable minigames and hidden-object-scenes, Calendar Lots of different HOS (played more than once): for example ?find 8 pairs of items that work together?, ?find 15 toys? and those silhouette-HOS, where you must find one item, place it back in the scene to get another, until 1 last item remains for your inventory. Great fun!! You?ll also find a good amount of unique, non-frustrating minigames/ puzzles. There are slightly more minigames than HOS. If you love fairy-tale themed games, which are not too difficult: This one?s for you!!! :)
Congradulations to everyone at Bunnyland for their 50th game. Once again they bring us another enchanting storyline enrichd with colorful characters, animated voice-overs, beautiful graphics, colorful artwork and wonderful sound effects. As always, their attention to details never ceases to amaze me. I love watching movement in my games like the fluttering of the butterfly wing and the sounds of birds chirping away in the background. Somehow they always manage to bring our story alive which makes playing their games even more enjoyable. Today our story is about sisterly love and sacrifice. How one sister gives up her soul to an evil witch in order to save her sibling from a crippling disease. Now we must save her from her selfless act and enter a magical world where we meet up with an assortment of lively characters like a dashing prince, a poetic troll, an assortment of adorable animals and many others who need our help along the way. A delightful HOPA game that offers three play modes which you can change during the game. Game features include a journal and an interactive map that allows you to travel to areas of interest. You are given an amulate that holds mystical powers with each stone you collect and best of all, you collect these wonderful golden walnuts, each one holding a message of wisdom addressed only to you. Finally, you have your list of achievements which always is fun for me. Game mechanics is your standard seek and find inventory items, solve puzzles and to much to my delight, a variety of interactive hidden object scenes that were very well done which included collecting twelve items, finding the silohettes and using them in the scene, and best of all, finding pairs that work together; all very well designed and fun to play. Mini-games were well conceptualized and relatively easy,so I thought before I got to the weaving machine which was where my demo ended. I cant wait to go back and start from the begining, this time taking my time and enjoying the scenery. KUDOS to o
The game has voice over and good music. Great graphics. Has a good flow to it. You have achievements to get. HOS are good and the puzzles are pretty good and interesting. There is some running around but normal now days in today's games.
I usually like ERS games and this one was not disappointing. Storyline, you are very ill and your sister is taking care of you when she makes a wish to save you; wicked witch appears from antique mirror and offers to cure you if your sister trades her youth and soul; your mission is to save your sister. 1--graphics were excellent 2--the world created is unusual and magical 3--you get various helpers, so far a mole, troll whose dialogue is said in rhymes, parrot and baby wolf not all stays with you long though 4--2 chapters appear so far in the SG 5--collect gold nuts for wise sayings, they may be hints to other parts of the game 6--achievements 7--hint button fills quickly played casual 8--3 modes to play in 9--magical amulet, need to find other crystals to use all its powers 10--Prince Charming or charming prince appears in beginning to help you and hopefully will reappear 11--there doesn't appear to be a map so far; and there is a bit of going back and forth, but the distance isn't great 12--HOS is a little different in that you need to find matching pairs; other puzzles appear to be easy but may get harder as the game progresses So far I found the game to be enchanting, not dark and dreary as other games have been. After playing the hour I decided to purchase this game as the developer usually does not disappoint. Try it you may like it! Oh dear I'm starting to rhyme, well it isn't a crime. Guess the troll rubbed off on me!
I don't usually write reviews but I do have to say something about this game. The storyline is the same old bla bla, but never mind. The rest of the mechanics make up for it, and though I didn't find the game very challenging, I found it FUN. Good graphics, good vo's, interactive HO's very different from the usual. Lots of achievements, don't know the percentage of puzzles/mini-games. But I don't care! Because the whole game is extremely interactive and the developers imagination and sense of humour on this one put a smile on my face while playing. And nowadays, that really matters to me. Something that makes me laugh :).
This game has started out just great! With its stunning graphics [think: bright rainbow], appropriate music - [even tho' the loop gets a little old], AND including great voice-overs -- the developers at ERS couldn't have done a better job! The Golden Nuts and bolts of the game: to set up, you have choices of: Screen type - btwn wide, full, and maybe one other, I forget[!-sorry]; the usual sound level bars to adjust; and 3 Difficulty levels - Casual, Advanced and Hard [the latter eliminates black-bar tips, but not sparkles, also still has hints & skips but recharge is slower] Achievements: from what I can tell, there are 18 different ones. Plus, you collect GOLDEN NUTS with fortunes inside, and a little ways into the game a Prince gives you an amulet for which you need to collect missing JEWELS. [collecting both Jewels AND Nuts? That just makes me smile!] Map: Interactive, letting you hit on whatever scene you need to go back to - along with the info on whether the scene is complete or there are still objectives remaining. Gotta love those Jump-Maps! Hidden Object Scenes/Puzzles: the HOS so far are different than the usual point-click; i.e. 1st one has you match up 8 pairs of items that "go together." Fun! And absolutely beautiful, too! The puzzles so far have been enjoyable, also - not too easy, not too hard... nice! Storyline: well, here's my only - very small! - complaint about the game... We're helping a set of beautiful twins, young ladies, one of which saved the other's life already by the time our game has started; however, the one whose life was saved NOW has to save the other's life, because, after the first one saved her sister's life, she was then captured by a witch, and now SHE needs saving ... HUH? Well, maybe it's just me, but could this be any more convoluted? Actually, it's not hard to follow who's who in the story - I just wonder WHY THAT particular storyline, when there are so many other choices?? Not to mention, this storyline is hardly new. Just say
If anyone doubts the validity of my title, let me just say that if ERS ever made me a queen on their fb page I would immediately demand they remove it. This game is outstandingly designed and executed and an absolute pleasure and delight to play from start to finish. For fairy tale fans it is a dream come true. ERS puzzles are always on the easy side but I would prefer that to puzzles that make smoke come out of my ears. The IHOPAs are varied and huge fun. The game play is perfect and the navigation instant. There is a jump map, collectibles, achievements and a host of delightful characters and creatures that made my smile very broad indeed. The voice overs are great and the cut scenes spot on. There are no sparkles in the hardest mode I think, though I did switch back and forth, so that might not be entirely accurate. It has a wonderful story, beautifully told and the colours are gorgeous. The music is really good too. The SG I only glanced at but it looked well done, since the hint button is all I ever rely on in most of these games, and being directional as well, it serves my purpose if I get stuck, though with such a good jump map that never happens. The main game ends extremely well for SE players but the BC is simply marvelous and to my mind makes the game well worth the CE price. For me, this all inclusive 10 hr game is a real tribute to ERS's wonderful ability to transport their players into worlds of wonder and magic, which is where the little girl in all of us ladies always lives on and I salute them for it and I thank them for it. Love it or hate it, it is undeniably a work of art.
I enjoyed playing the beta version of this one. This to me is an over 10 game. Kudos to the team for a job well done. Story: You are in your bed terminally ill with Lukemia and your twin sister is there with you. She is wishing that you weren't dying when a old hag of witch appears and wants to talk to your sister. Your sister goes to her and she tells your sister that she can cure your sister for your youth and soul. The sister agrees to it, and the old hag disappears with your sister. Well you get that burst of energy and off you go looking for your sister. Along the way you meet a drop dead gorgeous prince who wants to help until he gets into a bind himself. There is going to be one busy Missy. Mini Games: I found them really fun. Not too challenging or easy just right. Graphics: Absolutely gorgeous. Their art team did it again! Hint system: Works in and out of H0GS. Music: Fits the game perfectly. Really nice to listen to. Map: Jump map. The best kind :) All in all Kudos to the Bunny team as they did a wonderful job with this game. I truly look forward to the full version. Thanks Bunny!
First of all congratulations to ERS games studios for releasing their 50th game! A great job! Now to the game. As all the other Ers games the game is great. The graphics are colorful and full of life. They are not dark, they're bright and make me happy. It's a real dreamworld. The inventory items are many animals in this game. I really like animals, so I loved the idea to use many animals. Mostly they are very cute and sometimes they look strange. I really loved the speaking bunny, he was so funny. The storyline is great. Very different and it has nothing to do with death or a murder. It's a story about two sisters and beauty. The game is funny too. Sometimes I laughed loud, because of some things. Living teeth are a perfect example of what I'm talking about. You can play the game in three different modes and in widescreen. There are achievements, challenging mini games and easy ones mixed together, different types of Hidden Object Scenes and you can find some lucky nuts through the game. This idea is great too. The soundtrack and all other sounds are great and the inventory list is beautiful done too. Many details. The game characters are very different. I've never seen such characters. One speaks in poetry. One of the main game characters is singing beautiful. I never saw that before in a game. The game has a good lenght and has two endings. I did not play the bonus game yet, but I thing you'll need more than a hour to complete it. There are many guide pages for it. So overall this is something really new from Ers games. I've never seen a game like this before. Great job and really worth the money! And good luck for the next 50 games to ERS!
You are gravely ill with leukemia and to save you your sister sells her youth and soul to a witch. The witch takes your sister through an antique mirror and within minutes you are cured but what a price to pay. You follow your sister through the mirror to save her from the witch, and thus begins your fantastic journey through the beautiful world of Dreamland. You encounter a handsome prince and the many fantastic creatures that inhabit this land. Will you be able to save your sister from the evil witch and return to your world? There are 3 modes of gameplay ? casual, advanced and hard which you can change during the game if you wish to do so. The game opened automatically in widescreen on my Windows8 laptop but there are buttons available for full and widescreen. The graphics are excellent, colorful, and beautiful. The voiceovers are wonderful, and I especially love the magic rabbit. The music is a bit different from what we normally have in an ERS game and it is a welcome change. I also like that ERS seems to have moved away from the constant music that we normally find in their games. Everything about Reveries transports us to a beautiful world for hours of entertainment. We have interactive HOS some silhouette and some list type but all are fun and it is not overly difficult to find the items. In the progressive silhouette type HOS it takes a bit of imagination to figure out what to use where. There are some different and creative mini puzzles, and I liked the one involving the rabbit. Your hint button is a ballerina but you will acquire shortly into the game. You have an interactive map and a diary. Reveries Sisterly Love has lots of achievements to be earned I am not sure that I counted all of them but there it looks like 16 plus. As you are playing the game you will find golden nuts that have fortunes tucked inside. In the bonus section you have the wallpapers, concept art, movies, replay of HOS and puzzles AND a calendar featuring our handsome prince. For me Reveries is the total p
