I've just purchased this as a bonus buy because I already had the first in the series and I've replayed that one many times over the years. This one is a lot easier and less taxing on the brain but after playing more challenging games (which I love# this one seems to be a nice relaxer. I'm not bothered about the shortness/easiness etc., as I'll keep this as my chilling out game. It's not the usual HOG - you have to find fragments of objects - this would be a great beginner for anyone not experienced in that kind of game. I would definitely recommend it. Oh and although the level of challenge is really easy I clicked on the third option #OK) because I didn't want to say it was awful or poor - if the options had been too easy or easy then I would have said easy.
More interesting than just hidden object.
Refreshingly new storyline is different than the usual car/plane crash and unknown islands. FRAG game with sharp, colorful visual effects that?s fun to play. Scenes are not too crowded as to make it impossible to find the FRAGs, which are small but they are sparkly or brightly colored. Many levels, each with several rooms to explore, but it is short. Music is appropriate to the type of game. This was a treasure just waiting for me to discover. Well worth the sale price.
I enjoy the different types of levels. They aren't just hidden items some are actual puzzles where you must place the pieces into a puzzle board.
For those who love to be driven off into another world of fantasy and intrigue, this game's for you. Another hidden objects with the addition of putting together fragment pieces to solve the level. Great Intermediate Hidden Object game.
This is definitely not a game for the serious or advanced player as it was much too easy even for the likes of me, but I liked it nonetheless because sometimes I prefer not to think too much and still enjoy the logic that's required to progress through the game. The story was simplistic and boring to me and I didn't pay attention to it, but luckily you don't need to in order to move forward so that was a good thing. Like some others have already said, this is a great game if you have only a few minutes to play or want to play something easy between bigger, more involved games that require greater concentration or memory. This was a fun one to play because I loved the beautiful scenes and having to search among the three rooms to find all the pieces to the objects that you need to find. I actually prefer the fragmented object games to the usual HO word lists that have become so prevalent so I'm always on the lookout for these types of searching games now. Mirror Mysteries was the first of this kind that I played and I am hooked on these now so I'll continue to search these out. Yes, some of the pieces are tiny and well-hidden but the hint system was helpful and I used it often for these. Puzzles were easy for the most part and can be skipped. I really enjoyed the soothing, Persian music as it's different but it may not be for everyone and can be turned off. I would have liked to have seen brand new rooms in each realm because you end up revisiting some of them so I didn't like that, but maybe it's because you're in a labyrinth and it's supposed to reflect that you may end up in one of the rooms again? I don't know but THAT sure confused me but it didn't take away from any of my enjoyment. Placing the pedestal artifacts and gems in the lamp wall were an added bonus and I'd thought I'd hit a glitch at the end when I couldn't move my gems around, but the forums were helpful in finding out what I needed to do. The following is NOT a spoiler but it isn't addressed in the walkthrough if you've already place
This is a far better game than the original first, "The Sultan's Labyrinth" and the storyline is carefully thought out. It has great challenges, though not as good as other games I've played... still decent. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a top rating is that my computer couldn't handle some of the game-play and froze up on me and won't let me finish the game. That's not the fault of the designer or creators. That could be a computer problem on my end. All in all, though, a decent game for those whose computers can handle it.
I am halfway into the demo and I do like this game. Not your usual hidden objects game--instead of finding objects you find pieces of objects and then find the appropriate spot where they are needed. I would like to see more of this type of game with a better story line. The visual graphics could be tidied up also. I get frustrated with grainy backgrounds. In this day and age all games should be crystal clear especially for those of us who do not have the best pair of eyes. This one is fairly easy but relaxing after a busy day at work this will do for the meantime. I intend purchasing this game but I hope to see improvements in future games.
The graphics and theme seem to promise a rich, lush environment that just doesn't materialize. Fragmentary hidden object game isn't difficult so much as indistinct and random. Story seems to drop you after the intro. Just didn't seem rewarding to me.
I don't usually buy the "bonus" games, often because I already have them. I remember quite liking the earlier "sultan's Labyrinth" but this is easy and very short. Not really even worth the low price.
