This was a really good game and for a change the talking was only brief which i like. Some hidden object were hard to find which is nice and what i liked was it was not a dark game, some games you need night vision googles to see them The only downside to this game was it was far to short
This game was just not long enough on trial. It had a great mix of hidden object and puzzles. I liked how the story continually became more relayed the further along you got in game. Hidden objects were relevant for further game play. Great art. :)
If you are a Hidden Object lover like me then give this offering from Youda Games a try, it has a lot of excellently crafted ones, many of the items are well hidden & take a bit of searching to find. The music is melodic & the background sounds unobtrusive. This is the story of Emma who inherits a mansion & has to discover its secrets. The graphics are clear & the artwork excellent, the rooms in this mansion are beautifully rendered, very atmospheric & there are four floors of them so lots to explore. Luckily you are given a map; it is not interactive but it does tell you where there are active tasks, you also get a journal. In the options menu you can switch off the voiceovers if you wish but they are well done, you can also select widescreen. One downside is that there is only one mode of play & you cannot switch off the sparkles. Then hint button recharges at 90 seconds, it is ok in the H0 scenes but not very helpful in the main game as it simply circles an active task which in all likelihood you are already aware of (i.e. a lock to be opened). As well as the H0 scenes there are mini-games, there is no help button on these but they are the usual types so can be figured out. Initially I thought this would be an easy game but it is not as simple as it seems, you can spend quite a lot of time wandering about wondering where to find an item you need to get into the next locked room or solve a puzzle
I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I did turn the volume down some but just enough that I could hear the person do the dialog. I also turned the volume down on the music through the option link. The game had a lot of hidden areas but it was very nice to have objects from the hidden areas used in other areas as this is what helped make the story line very interesting.
I FOUND IT VERY REFRESHING . TO HAVE THE CHALLENGE & THE WONDERFUL GRAPHICS. THANK YOU
Exactly what I've been longing for in a search-the-manor style HOG game. Of all the game titles that BF claims have "gorgeous graphics", this one is not mentioned and it has my vote for the Best. The detail of each room on the ground floor and first floor is eye candy -- the furniture, paneling, etc. is all rendered beautifully -- but still has that surrealness that only certain HOG games can pull off #whereas it has a dream quality about it#. The storyline is good. The soundtrack fits the atmosphere. The hidden object areas also have very good detail in line with the over-all detail of the rooms. I found myself scrambling to unlock each room as I couldn't wait to feast my eyes on what was next. Not a big fan of attic rooms and basements #too drab usually# but in this game, even those areas were kinda fun. I'd even go as far as to say this game is better than Ravenhurst which was my undisputed favorite search-the-manor HOG...until now. Future Youda games are definitely on my radar now. Next?
This had a great story line, just enough scare with out being demonic. Challenging games.
really enjoyed. alittle short but fun
i liked how you were able to find everything
